CHD closed October 29 for training. Crisis services remain available

LA GRANDE – The Center for Human Development (CHD) announced that it will be closed tomorrow, October 29, for an in-service training day. However, remote crisis services will remain available as normal.
Anyone experiencing a mental health crisis, or may know someone who is, can still call CHD Crisis Services at 541-962-8800 option 6. As written in CHD’s announcement, “CHD Crisis Services are available 24/7 to community members experiencing a mental health crisis. Please call 911 for medical or other emergencies.”
In addition, those in crisis can call or text the National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at 988. This service is likewise free and available 24/7.
