Cedar Street in Baker City partially closed on Wednesday for road work

BAKER CITY – The Baker County Road Department will close North Cedar Street tomorrow, April 29^th for asphalt work. The closure will take place between 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. from Hughes Lane to I-84.

Road Department officials stated, “We replaced a culvert a while back and had to cut out the asphalt to do that. We have put fill etc. into the space we cut out. Now that the fill has settled in, we have to re-asphalt the place we cut out.”
