MISSION – Cayuse Holdings LLC, formerly known as Cayuse Technologies, on the Umatilla Indian Reservation continues to grow. It now has a successful federal government contractor division as well as its original commercial division.
“They now have 546 employees that are not only stationed here in the Pendleton area, but around the world,” Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation Interim Communications Director Jiselle Halfmoon said. “A year ago this time, Cayuse only had 389 employees.”
Halfmoon said the company has also expanded to serve tribal nations.
“That company is called Cayuse Native Solutions and it’s led by tribal member Deb Croswell,” Halfmoon said. “They’ve also hired another tribal member, Alanna Nanegos, to help grow the services and products being provided for tribes.”
