Casey White-Zollman to lead BMCC Foundation

PENDLETON – The Blue Mountain Community College Foundation has named Casey White-Zollman of Pendleton to be its new executive director. The foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing financial support to the students of Blue Mountain Community College.
“We are excited to have Casey join us,” Chair Torrie Griggs said. “As a foundation, we know we play a key role in supporting students and the college, and with Casey’s background, we are ready to roll.”
White-Zollman began her career after years as an award-winning journalist with the InterMountain Education Service District as their communications specialist. She then went to BMCC as the director of community relations, communications, and government relations for five years. Her most recent role is the communications director for the Oregon Community College Association. She is also active in the community and is one of two organizers of the annual Tough Enough to Wear Pink Day at the Pendleton Round-Up.
“I am thrilled and humbled to have this opportunity,” White-Zollman said. “Helping to lead the work that provides the much-needed resources for the students of Eastern Oregon to pursue their dreams through education and training is so meaningful. I’m ready to get to work.”
