Car fire prop instructed by DPSST is taking place in Burns

BURNS-On April 8, 2026, at 5:30pm, Burns Fire Department will be hosting a Car Fire Prop instructed by DPSST (Department of Public Safety Standards and training).

This will take place on the section of Van Buren Street from S. Alvord to S. Broadway in front of the Burns Police and Fire Stations.

This is a live active training, and the public is encouraged to come down and watch. The Burns Police Department and Burns Fire Department ask that you watch from a safe distance.

Burns Fire Department and Hines Volunteer Fire Department will be attending the training.
