Camping season at Hewitt/Holcomb Parks begins Spring Break

RICHLAND, OR— Baker County Parks recently announced that staff and parks personnel are getting ready for Spring Break, and the official opening of the parks’ camping season. They invite families to begin their overnight stays at Hewitt and Holcomb Parks on March 21^st. The 21^st will also mark the opening of both the Hewitt and Holcomb boat launches.

According to parks staff, the water at the parks is not potable at this time. Also, the showers will not be operational, but the restrooms and the fish cleaning stations will be open. Folks with questions can call the Baker County Parks Department at (541) 897-8223.
