Call for proposals for 2022 Oregon Main Street Revitalization 

LA GRANDE – (Release from La Grande Main Street) La Grande Main Street Downtown is looking for proposals for the2022 Oregon Main Street Revitalization Grant.

This Grant, previously awarded to LGMSD in 2019 and 2017, is a major grant designed to support major downtownrevitalization building projects. Grants may be awarded up to $200,000 with a 30% match from the applicant. La GrandeMain Street Downtown will assist one selected project in their application process. Project proposals must be submitted to La Grande Main Street Downtown by 5PM on Monday, February 7th. Applicants will then be invited to present their project before the selection committee. The final selection will be made, and candidates notified, by February 14th.

La Grande Main Street Downtown is excited to share the return of this grant opportunity. “La Grande Main Street has been fortunate to be awarded the OMS Revitalization Grant for the past two cycles, first for the IOOF building at 1106 Adams Ave, and then the Putnam Building/Liberty Theatre project at 1008 and 1012 Adams Ave” says Taylor Scroggins, LaGrande Main Street’s Executive Director. “Now that the grant is being offered once again, we look forward to working with another energetic Downtown property owner to apply for the grant, and add another amazing project to the list.”

Applications are due by 5 PM on February 7th. Applicants will be invited to present proposals to the selection committee, and will be notified of selection by February 14th. Final application to the Oregon Main Street Revitalization Grant is March 15th, with the grant award announced in the summer.
