BAKER COUNTY – (Information from the Baker County Sheriff’s Office) Several reports have come into Baker County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch from business owners who received calls from “Deputy Henry” from the Baker County Sheriff’s Office informing them that one of their employees was being detained at the Sheriff’s Office for DUII. The caller was impersonating a BCSO Deputy in the hopes of receiving payment for bail.
This is a scam. Deputies will never call and ask for payment.
