Burns Police Department talks school zone safety on Harney County Live

BURNS-Burns Police Chief, Chief Steve Macartney spoke on Harney County Live about moving into fall and back to school safety and school zones and also winter driving tips.

Chief Macartney informed Harney County Live listeners that the Burns Police Department is now patrolling Burns Paiute Reservation.

Lastly, Chief Macartney stated that Burns Police Officer, Officer Beers has become Harney County School District #3’s School Resource Officer for Slater Elementary School, Hines Middle School and Burns High School.
