BURNS-The Burns Police Department has issued a public notice regarding a planned event designed to promote safe driving habits among young drivers in the community.

Emergency responders and local community partners will gather at Burns High School for a Teen Driver Safety Event. The initiative aims to educate students on essential vehicle safety, responsible decision-making behind the wheel, and the overall importance of safe driving habits.

Local residents and parents are advised that there will be a noticeable increase in first responders, emergency vehicles, and participating business representatives on the school campus. Police officials emphasize that this is a scheduled educational program and not an emergency situation.

“Please do not be alarmed by the presence of emergency personnel,” the department stated. “We appreciate the support of our community partners and the opportunity to work together to educate our students and help keep our young drivers safe.”
