Burns Interagency Fire Zone prepares community for prescribed fires

HARNEY COUNTY-Ryan Hussey, District Fire Manager Officer and Shyanne Slate, Prevention Technician with the Burns Interagency Fire Zone spoke on Harney County Live about prescribed burning, when they do and do not burn and how the areas are chosen.

Ryan and Shyanne also spoke about the Harney County crews going out of state to help with wildfires and fire fighters from out of state coming to help locally when needed.
