Burns Interagency Fire Zone continues prescribed burning

HARNEY COUNTY – Fire officials report that pile burning is still underway in Harney County. The Burns Interagency Fire Zone noted on Monday that nearly 7,000 acres of prescribed fire treatment has been completed, with a few more burn units remaining.
Smoke will likely visible during burn operations.
