Burns Fire Department prepares you for winter

Burns- Burns Fire Chief Scott Williamson and Burns Fire Captain David Ravenberg spoke on Harney County Live about winter being here and how to prepare for it. Scott and David spoke about how to clean your chimney and have it inspected. Not only should you have your wood stove chimney cleaned and inspected, they state that you need to have pellet stoves, propane and oil stoves cleaned.

Scott and David spoke about the proper use of space heaters and where and how to plus them in.

Scott spoke about the Energy Assistance Program that the Harney HUB offers and lastly spoke about becoming and being a volunteer.
