Size: Coleman Creek: 308,721 acres, 95% contained
Second Flat: 105,501 acres, 90% contained
Bald Mountain: 76,443 acres, 93% contained
Jackass Butte: 24,724 acres, 92% contained

COLEMAN CREEK FIRE: Suppression repair on interior dozer lines continues near the Warm Springs
Reservoir area, while crews assess repair needs along access routes in the central part of the fire. Patrols and
mop-up are ongoing along primary containment lines.
SECOND FLAT FIRE: Suppression repair has been completed in the Winslow Canyon area, with additional
efforts focusing on the eastern side of the fire. Patrols and mop-up are ongoing along primary containment lines.
BALD MOUNTAIN FIRE: Suppression repair continues within the eastern side of the fire along access
routes. Patrols and mop-up are ongoing along primary containment lines.
JACKASS BUTTE FIRE: Patrols and mop-up are ongoing along primary containment lines. Water operations
are expanding to flood additional wetland areas within the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge to prevent reignitions from smoldering plant material. The water operations setup consists of a series of pumps and hoses with punctured holes to deliver a continuous flow of water from a local source and keep the area as wet as possible.
WEATHER: Warm, dry and breezy conditions are expected Tuesday through late week.
CLOSURES: The “Forest Service Order 06-04-02-26-17: Second Flat Fire Area Reduced” remains in effect.
