Burn ban in Baker City will go into effect on 6/1

BAKER CITY – A city-wide burn ban will go into effect in Baker City starting on June 1. According to fire officials, this burn ban will remain until appropriate weather conditions arrive. If you have any questions or concerns, you can reach us at 541-523-3711.

Due to the weather conditions with the consistent wind, dryness, and warm weather coming, it has been decided to set a mandated start date for the burn ban this year.
