PENDLETON – Round-Up week is approaching. The Main Street Cowboys and Side Saddlers are heating up the griddle for the Twilight Breakfast to start the festivities tomorrow (Thursday) from 4:30-7 p.m. at Stillman Park.
More action begins Saturday morning at 10 a.m. with the Main Street Cowboys’ Dress-Up Parade through the city, ending at the Round-Up Grounds. That night the Kick-Off Concert in the Happy Canyon Arena features the country sounds of Clay Walker and special guest Eddie Gentry of Montgomery Gentry.
Umatilla County Sheriff Terry Rowan’s advice for those attending the many events is to make “moderation” their watchword as far as alcohol is concerned. “When you are under the influence, you don’t have the best judgement,” he said.
“Little things could either make you really happy or can make you really mad.”
