BREAKING: Man killed in Milton-Freewater shooting

News release from Milton-Freewater Police Chief Joe Shurtz

On 12/02/2023 at around 4:21AM, the Milton-Freewater Police Department received multiple calls of shots fired in the 500 block of Elzora Loop. Responding officers arrived and located an unconscious 19-year-old male. Officers, along with Milton-Freewater Rural Fire, attempted life saving measures but were unsuccessful.

The Milton-Freewater Detectives are actively working the investigation. This is an on-going investigation and no further information will be released at this time.
