JOHN DAY – Blue Mountain Hospital District has announced their R.I.S.E. (Recognizing Individuals Striving for Excellence) Award winners. Congratulations to Brandi Moss, RN, BSN, and Katie Hughes, PT, DPT. The district stated the winners are, “Employees who show exceptional teamwork, innovation, compassion, and a commitment to excellence in service to our patients and each other.”

Congratulations to R.I.S.E. Award Winners – Brandi Moss, RN, BSN & Katie Hughes, PT, DPT.
R.I.S.E. Award: (Recognizing Individuals Striving for Excellence). This award celebrates team members who consistently go above and beyond in their roles. Employees who show exceptional teamwork, innovation, compassion, and a commitment to excellence in service to our patients and each other.
Brandi consistently goes above and beyond for both patients and staff. She works tirelessly to find resources for patients, supports families during difficult moments, and finds creative ways to connect our programs with the community. As an RN and Med Surg Lead, Brandi wears many hats and is always the person others turn to for help – even outside of work hours. Her dedication does not go unnoticed.
Not only is Katie an incredible Physical Therapist and leader within the organization, but she also recently went above and beyond by donating a crockpot to a patient working toward independent living. Her kindness made a meaningful impact – the patient was deeply grateful and expressed how supported and cared for they felt by our Swing Bed team.
