Boxers sweep day two against Mountaineers

LA GRANDE – (Information provided by EOU Athletics) Mountaineers Baseball was unable to secure the series win Sunday afternoon, dropping the final two games against No. 18 Pacific University. The Boxers won the two games by scores of 9-4 and 18-4 (8 Innings) to take the series, 3-1. With the two losses, Eastern Oregon is now 4-7 on the year.
The Mountaineers in-state road trip will wrap up next weekend with a four-game two-day series at Western Oregon Feb. 19-20. First pitch for both days is set for 12 p.m. PT in Monmouth.
