Body recovered near Milton-Freewater

MILTON-FREEWATER – The body of an unidentified female was recovered Sunday afternoon by the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office outside the Milton-Freewater city limits.
Sheriff Terry Rowan said the body was located on Cache Hollow Road above Walla Walla River Road.
An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday) at the medical examiner’s office.
“We hope to have answers to a lot of questions,” Rowan said.
The cause of death is currently unknown and UCSO is investigating.
