HUNTINGTON – The Baker County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information regarding A boat that was stripped and set adrift in the Snake River outside of Huntington.
According to information from the Sheriff’s Office, after investigation, it was determined that the boat had been stored in Huntington.
Last week, deputies towed the boat to the shore. Today it was loaded and placed in storage pending identification and location of the suspect(s).
This intentional dumping of property was concerning for several reasons. Not only did this boat pose a hazard in the water for other boaters, it also endangered the lives of first responders who responded to a report of a capsized boat.
