UNION COUNTY – Marine Deputy Tad Butcher of the Union County Sheriff’s Department will be inspecting boats at no charge, May 15th. This inspection will be held at the Bi-Mart parking lot in La Grande for the purpose of safety inspections, answering any questions for new boaters, and boaters that may want to keep up with new laws. Deputy Butcher will also be doing a Hull Identification Number (HIN) inspection.
