Boardman Fire Rescue District opens up controlled burning

BOARDMAN – Boardman Fire Rescue (BFRD) says controlled burning is now allowed in their district, but a reminder that you still need a permit.

Permits are free and available at the fire station at 911 Tatone Street. Also make sure to call BFRD before you burn at 541-676-5317.

BFRD also reminds residents that if a burn gets out of control emergency response will be billed.
