BOARDMAN โ The Boardman City Council will consider adopting curbside recycling rates at its meeting at 7:10 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday). The proposed rate being considered is $9.04 for a 90-gallon container. It would be picked up every other week.
During 2026, curbside recycling will become required in cities of over 4,000 people in Oregon. The Hermiston City Council recently approved charging $8 per container, with a low-income rate of $6.80.
Prior to the regular meeting, the council will gather for a workshop at 6 p.m. The topic for the session is a preliminary discussion of water and sewer rate adjustments.
The meeting is in council chambers at Boardman City Hall.
