WALLA WALLA – The Walla Walla County Board of Commissioners holds a virtual meeting at 10 a.m. today (Monday). The meeting will be streamed live on the county’s website.
The board will consider approving a request by the Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office to apply for a grant from the Wildhorse Foundation to purchase a radio repeater drone. In addition to being used by the sheriff’s office it would also be used by other emergency service agencies in the county.
Other items on the agenda include using Economic Development funds to help the city of Walla Walla with the Spokane Street Bridge project; reimbursing the Port of Walla Walla for roadwork on certain streets at the airport; and awarding a bid for the Mill Creek Landscaping and Fencing Project.
