UPDATE: Phone/internet back on at Blue Mt. Hospital District

JOHN DAY – UPDATE: Blue Mountain Hospital District Human Resource Director Maisey Taylor informed our newsroom Thursday morning that the phones and internet connection issues have been fixed at the hospital. A cause of the disruption in service was not listed.

PREVIOUSLY REPORTED: Blue Mountain Hospital District Executive Assistant Carmen Gardner issued a news release on Wednesday, June 26th (today) to alert the public of intermittent phone and internet outages. Find the full release below:

Since last night the hospital has been experiencing intermittent phone and internet outages. The hospital has been working with our local internet/phone provider to get this issue resolved as quickly as possible. We are still providing all services, however it may take a little longer than usual. We apologize for this inconvenience and we ask for your patience and understanding as we continue to provide care for our patients while we work diligently to resolve this quickly as possible. As always if there is an emergency please call 911.
