JOHN DAY – The Blue Mountain Hospital District is starting a program to connect aspiring nurses with higher education opportunities. BMHD’s Chief Nursing Officer Debbie Morris was on KJDY’s Coffee Time recently to explain a bit about the program:

“The nursing school that currently is approved that we are planning on starting with soon is Joyce University. This is out of Draper, Utah.

This is only a twenty-month program. You would come out with an Associate Science Degree, which is great for becoming a bedside nurse.”

Folks interested in learning more are encouraged to contact the Blue Mountain Hospital District.
