BMHD & BTI to offer free nursing assistant class

JOHN DAY/BAKER CITY – Here’s one for anyone local interested in becoming a nursing assistant. According to information from Kyra Adair, the DHS District 14 SNAP Navigator, there will be a nursing assistant class provided by Baker Technical Institute and Blue Mountain Hospital District. The class orientation will be Friday April 8, and then classes start April 22. It’s a 9-week course and classes are held on the weekends.
