BMCC in Pendleton opened as shelter for evacuees

PENDLETON – An emergency shelter has been established at Blue Mountain Community College for residents affected by evacuations from wildfires across Umatilla County.
The shelter is located at the McCrae Activity Center – Basement Gym.
There are currently Level 3 “Go Now” evacuation orders in place for the Hagen Fire off Bingham Road on the Umatilla Indian Reservation.
