PENDLETON – The Blue Mountain Community College (BMCC) Associated Student Government (ASG) is moving its holiday dinner from December to November. The reason for the change is to make it possible for more people to gather and enjoy a free meal.

“We-re hoping that more of our community can attend,” ASG Vice President Katelyn Demianew said. “A big part of it is for our students because before it was during winter break and students usually go home during that time.”

In addition to a free meal, there will be a kids’ table set up for children to make crafts and enjoy activities.

The dinner is being held in the student union on the BMCC Pendleton campus. The food will be prepared by the college’s new kitchen hosts, Sourdough Sisters. The ASG is also offering meal deliveries within Pendleton city limits.

The dinner is from 5-7 p.m. Nov. 20. Deliveries will be made from 4-6 p.m. that day as well.

More information is available at Community Turkey Dinner – Homestyle Food. Hometown Warmth. – Blue Mountain Community College. People who want to register for a delivery can register at Community Turkey Dinner – Blue Mountain Community College.
