JOHN DAY / PRAIRIE CITY – The Blue Mountain Hospital District recently highlighted an opportunity for Grant County residents who may have old books lying around. The hospital is building a little library for the residents at the Blue Mountain Care Center in Prairie City and are accepting donations of books.
BMHD states that donated books can be dropped off inside the main entrance of the Blue Mountain Hospital in John Day. There is a plastic box next to the couches in the waiting area to place them in. The books will then be taken to the BMCC library in Prairie City.
