Blood drive in John Day 1/2 and 1/3

The American Red Cross John Day Community is holding a blood drive next week.
The drive will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 944 E. Main St. in John Day. On Tuesday, January 2nd, donations will be taken between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. On Wednesday, January 3rd, it will be held between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
To schedule a donation, log on to RedCrossBlood.org and when prompted, enter JOHNDAYCOMMUNITY. Folks can also call 1-800-RED CROSS.
Blood donors can save 15 minutes by visiting the Rapid Pass portion of the website and completing their pre-donation reading and health history questions on the day of their appointment.
