BLM Waives day use fees at Spring Recreation Site in honor of Veterans Day

HUNTINGTON – (Information from the BLM) In honor of Veterans Day, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is once again waiving standard amenity day-use fees at eleven recreation sites across Oregon and Washington. Within Northeast Oregon, this includes the Spring Recreation Site just north of Huntington. The specific address is 28403 Snake River Rd, Huntington, OR 97907
Note that this waiver only applies to standard day use amenity fees. Overnight camping, group day use, cabin rentals and individual special recreation permit fees all still apply. Also keep in mind that Veterans Day marks the final “fee-free” day on BLM grounds for 2023. The full list of BLM day use sites that will see a Veterans Day waiver in the Pacific Northwest are:

- Edson Creek Recreation Site
- Spring Recreation Site
- Fishermen’s Bend Recreation Site
