VALE-The BLM needs your input on the Grassy Mountain Gold Mine Project.
The BLM is hosting two public meetings on the proposed project in Jordan Valley and Ontario, Oregon. Your input will help inform the scope of analysis for the environmental impact statement.
The most helpful comments include potential local concerns and opportunities, identification of potential alternatives and issues to be analyzed, and possible measures to minimize or avoid adverse environmental impacts
Meeting #1: Wednesday, April 3, from 5 to 7 p.m. MT, at the Vale Senior Center, 100 Longfellow St. South, Vale, or via Zoom at https://bit.ly/4aqvw1B
Meeting #2: Thursday, April 4, from 11 to 1 p.m. MT, at the Jordan Valley Lions Hall, 902 Bassett St., Jordan Valley.
