VALE — The Vale office of the Bureau of Land Management reports that Birch Creek Road is open for travel once again. Earlier this year, parts of Birch Creek Road (BLM Rd. #7333) were significantly damaged between the gate and the Birch Creek Takeout. The damage was caused by water erosion, forcing its closure until repairs could be made.
A BLM release stated, “Thanks to the hard work of our crews, repairs to Birch Creek Road leading to the Owyhee River takeout are now complete. The road is passable for vehicles and trailers.”
Folks needing assistance can call the BLM Vale District at (541) 473-3144.
