BAKER CITY – Baker High School Principal Greg Mitchell has announced that they are moving forward with plans to have an in-person graduation ceremony this year. Graduation will be held on Sunday, June 6, at2pm in the Baker Bulldog Memorial Stadium.
According to Mitchell, “All current COVID-19 health and safety guidelines will be followed for the outdoor ceremony.
In the outdoor venue, we will be limited to cohorts of 100 individuals using separate entrances/exits and bathroom facilities. We plan to use four separate stadium entrances and seat spectators on both sides of the stadium, as we did for football games held earlier in the year.
Each graduate will be provided with four (4) color-coded tickets for their guests. The color of the ticket will correspond to a specific entrance and seating area. In addition to the seating restriction, facial coverings and appropriate physical distancing will be required of all guests and participants.
We are excited to have this opportunity and look forward to sending our graduates off in the traditional manner. If you are not able to attend the ceremony in person, a livestream of the event will be available. More details on how to access that broadcast will be coming soon.”
