BHS Boys are 4A State Basketball and LMS Girls Wrestling win 1st in state

The Baker Boys Basketball Team pulled off a repeat win this weekend making them the 4A state Champions for two years in a row.  The boys dominated Marshfield Saturday night with a win of 64-46.

The La Grande Middle School Girls Wresling team brought home a win this weekend as well. Out of 150 middle schools across Oregon, the La Grande Middle School Girls Wrestling Team won the 2025 Girls Middle School State Championship! According to Coach Geoff Robinson, this is the first time the LGMS girls have won the big one. Coach Robinson mentioned the best traits of the team include “positive attitudes and upbeat personalities.” He said, “They have no-quit personalities–even when things don’t go well.”
