BFD extinguishes flue fire

BURNS – Shortly after noon on Thursday, Feb. 18,, the Burns Fire Department responded to a report of a flue fire at a residence on Foley Drive in Burns.

The reporting party stated there were flames showing inside the residence. The fire was contained inside the chimney and extinguished, and the fire department also installed two smoke detectors in the residence.
