LA GRANDE – With warmer temperatures on the horizon, the Oregon State Police are advising drivers to be cautious when driving. According to OSP Troopers the roads may look clear, but don’t be fooled the roadways can still be icy and black ice in the shadows. There were several slide offs over the weekend causing some delays, but some of the slide could have been avoided by motorist if driven according to the weather conditions, said OSP. The Command Center of Oregon State Police said, always check road conditions before you travel and take plenty of time.
