WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. House of Representatives is taking a break this week. Rep. Cliff Bentz (R- Ontario) is using that time to touch base with constituents. Bentz has scheduled a series of town halls in Baker, Union, Umatilla, and Morrow counties. He said he’s ready to answer questions, listen to concerns, and provide an update of what he’s working on in Congress.
The first town hall will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the auditorium at Baker High School. His second town hall will be the same day at 3 p.m. in the McKenzie Theater in Loso Hall on the Eastern Oregon University campus in La Grande.
On Thursday, Bentz will kick things off at 10 a.m. at the Pendleton Convention Center in rooms 1-4, 1601 Westgate in Pendleton. He will finish the day at 3 p.m. with a town hall for Morrow County constituents at the Sage Center Theater, 101 Olson Road, Boardman.
Bentz serves on two committees and various ancillary subcommittees in the 119th session of Congress. He sits on the House Natural Resources Committee and on its subcommittees of Water, Wildlife and Fisheries; and on Federal Lands. He is a member of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce and serves on its subcommittees of Energy; Health; and Commerce Manufacturing and Trade.
