BAKER CITY — The Baker County Sheriff’s Office and MayDay, Inc. in Baker City are teaming up to help residents keep themselves safe by holding a special workshop later this month. The free Situational Awareness Mindset Training aims to teach participants the importance of situational awareness. Deputies Gabe Maldonado and Rich Kirby have 40 years of combined law enforcement experience and will be teaching the class.
The Situational Awareness Mindset Training will be held February 24th from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Oregon Trail Electric Cooperative Conference Room. The class is free, and registration is required. For more information and to register, call (54) 523-9472.
