Bank of the West branch is temporarily closed

PENDLETON – The Bank of the West in Pendleton has been closed for several days. Upon calling the bank, one person reports the call was answered by a bank employee in Richland, Washington, who stated the bank was closed due to COVID-19, but should open next week.

Executive Vice President Don Barnes, who is the head of retail banking for Bank of the West stated that many branch operations have been temporarily adjusted during the pandemic.

β€œThe situation is changing day-by-day, so we are asking our customers to please visit our branch locator at https://www.bankofthewest.com/HeretoHelp or call their local branch to confirm hours and availability before coming to a branch,” he stated.

Barnes went on to say that customers can use online and mobile banking for many needs including making deposits or paying bills. If anyone experiences problems with online banking, they are asked to contact customer service for help.
