BAKER CITY – (Release from the Baker School District) Two Baker School District staff members will be recognized at the Oregon Statewide Transition Conference in Eugene on March 12, 2025.
Baker School District Special Education Director Barry Nemec will receive the Outstanding Administrator Award, which recognizes local school district administrators or regional/state administrators who made major contributions to the development and/or growth of successful outcomes for transition-aged students or programs.
Also, Janie Radinovich-Brose will receive the Innovative Agency Provider Award, which recognizes a non-classroom person (i.e. Transition Specialist, Job Placement Coordinator, etc.) who made major contributions to the development and/or growth of successful transition from school to employment.
