Baker School District gets new technology department leadership

BAKER CITY – (Release from the Baker School District) Baker School District contracts with Chaves Consulting of Baker City to staff its Technology Department; and this week, it was announced that Bob Duker and Matt Duman would be taking over for Justin Crego to lead the district’s Technology Department beginning June 1.

Bob Duker will join the Technology Department as Systems Administrator, and Matt Duman will become Team Lead. Matt Duman, who has been part of the district’s Technology Department for almost 2.5 years, is very familiar with the district’s ongoing projects and will be in charge of summer projects, including those associated with safety/security for the buildings.

“We’ve been really fortunate to have Mr. Crego’s expertise the past several years,” says Baker School District Superintendent Betty Palmer. “We wish him well and look forward to working with Mssrs. Duker and Duman beginning next month as we continue to leverage technology to meet our district’s vision, mission, and goals.”
