BAKER CITY – The Baker School District has announced that, due to the Wildfire-related Incident Command Center utilizing space at Baker High School, the pickup point for the free summer meals program has been changed. Instead of picking up meals at Baker High School, those participating in the program will now pick up meals at Brooklyn Primary School.
The program itself will otherwise remain unchanged. Breakfast and lunch will still be served tomorrow for free to children 18 or younger, as well as to anyone impacted by the ongoing wildfires on weekdays (Monday-Friday) from 11:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. via the bus lanes at Brooklyn Primary school and Haines Elementary School.
The Free Summer Meals Program will continue to run through August 16. No pre-registration is required.
