BAKER CITY — The times they are a-changin’, and the extension service is exploring different ways to adapt. The OSU Extension Annual Conference is underway this week in Corvallis, and in attendance are staff from Baker County’s OSU Extension Office. This year, the theme is “Adapting and Advancing: Extension in Times of Change.”

OSU reports, “This year’s theme reflects the need for resilience, innovation, and continued progress amidst ongoing uncertainty and changes. Our goal is to offer practical insights and strategies for navigating the evolving landscape of Extension work, while also fostering positive workplace culture with a sense of community and collective growth.”

While the staff are attending the conference, the Extension Office in Baker City will be closed through October 2nd. Anyone needing assistance with the Baker County Fairgrounds or OSU Extension, contact Angela Robb at 541-519-2202.
