BAKER CITY – (Information from the Oregon FBLA) The Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) hosted the National FBLA Leadership Conference in Atlanta Georgia June 27-30. Over twelve thousand top FBLA students attended, including 150 from Oregon. Participants competed in various leadership and business-related events, earning some of the most prestigious commendations in the FBLA.
However, while the conference may have been an opportunity for students to learn and compete, they weren’t the only ones putting in effort. FBLA chapter advisors were given their own special recognition for their hard work and dedication, including Baker High School FBLA Advisor Toni Zikmund, one of only two Oregon advisors to be recognized. As stated in the official Oregon FBLA release:
“Toni Zikmund of Baker Senior High School was recognized in the conference program as Oregon FBLA’s Outstanding Local Adviser, one of the highest honors an adviser can achieve.”
Congratulations to Toni and thank you to all FBLA advisors for the opportunities they provide students.
