BAKER CITY — Input is being sought from members of the Baker County community regarding the potential for a new youth center in Baker County.

According to Baker School District 5J, four different surveys are available, each intended for a different demographic. Surveys are available for youth age 12-18; for parents/guardians; for teachers/school staff; and for community partners.

BSD5J noted, โ€œThis anonymous survey will help gather input about what young people in Baker County want and need in a potential future youth center.โ€

Officials estimate the survey should take participants around 2 to 4 minutes to complete.  The efforts are being conducted by Chanda Christensen as part of her Master of Fine Arts thesis. Direct any questions to chanda.christensen@gmail.com.
