BAKER CITY – (The following is a letter released by the Baker County YMCA)
Hello Y Members and Friends,
Thank you for your continued support of the Y as we navigate through these challenging times. Thank you in advance for continuing to be patient and understanding as we open back up and work out all the logistics. I would like to thank the staff for working so diligently, to develop a plan, to best serve our valued members, for the current county extreme risk guidelines. While this may not be the ideal situation, we are excited to open our doors, and serve you the best that we can.
Here is a snap shot of what the next 2 weeks will look like. (More detailed information is listed below).
The fitness center and swimming pool will open on Friday, January 29th. Under current guidelines, we can serve 6 people, per hour, per facility, by reservation. (Times will vary by location). There will not be any fitness classes at the fitness center or swimming pool while operating in the extreme risk category current guidelines.
The Church Street Gym will open on Monday, February 1st. We are working through all the logistics of what fitness classes we can offer at the Church Street Gym.
