BAKER CITY — The Baker County Sheriff’s Office recently welcomed the department’s newest member, Undersheriff Tim Durheim. A BSCSO release states Undersheriff Durheim was “Born and raised in Oregon,” and “has always had a connection to the outdoors. His love for hunting, fishing and all things outdoors is what originally brought him to Baker County in 1998 and regularly since.”
The agency reports that Undersheriff Durheim has worked in the law enforcement field since 1990, including time with the Prineville Police Department and the Crook County Sheriff’s Office. He has experience in Corrections, Patrol, OHV specialist, drug detection K9 handling, and supervisory roles in both Corrections and Patrol.
